I've been working as a Content Producer for RNIB Connect Radio since September 2022.

I help bring interviews, live broadcasts and specialist music and audiobook shows to our 80,000 blind and partially sighted global listeners.
 

My work includes researching interesting stories, establishing connections and conducting, recording and editing interviews to be used in our daily shows. I've interviewed a huge range of people including Historians at The National Archives, Love Island 2023 Finalist Ron Hall and P & G Accessibility Leader Sumaira Latif.
 

I regularly research information, write scripts and plan set lists for a variety of shows including 'The Afternoon Edition' and 'Sounds of the Silver Screen' alongside hosting 'The Weekend Connect' every Saturday at 10am. I provided live coverage during King Charles III's Coronation and have ventured beyond the studio to gather field interviews at live events including the SVS 2023 Conference. I've also created book reviews and interviewed best-selling author Elodie Harper and Literary Translator Nichola Smalley for RNIB Connect Radio's audiobook show 'Read On'.
